5K to Honor Life of Tracey Yeager, Support Trails

The Tracey Yeager Memorial 5K, to be held on Memorial Day (May 27) from 9-11 a.m. in Winona Lake, will honor Tracey's memory and benefit a new fund at the Community Foundation. The Tracey's Trails Fund will support the building, improving and maintaining of hiking/cycling trails, greenways and linear parks in Kosciusko County.

Tracey was an avid runner, and especially loved to involve her family and friends in her fitness activities. She passed away on Memorial Day of 2010 after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Those interested in registering for the race may do so at www.sym.com. Those interested in making an online gift to the fund, may do so here, and should include "Tracey's Trails" in the fund designation field.

Gift that Gives

Give the gift that is always the right size and color, never needs dusting, and will always be appreciated...the Gift that Gives! Here's how it works:

1. Honor someone special by making a gift to the Gift that Gives Fund online, by mail, by phone, or by stopping in ($25 gift minimum).

2. Your special someone receives a beautiful, custom imprinted greeting card letting them know you made a gift in their honor, and a certificate in the amount of your donation.

3. Your special someone uses their certificate to select from over 200 Community Foundation endowments where to direct your gift in honor of them.

No matter what your special someone values: education, youth, animals, the environment, their faith, people in need...we've got an endowment for that!
