Community Catalyst

“Catalyst – A spark. A change. A Beginning…For Good Things.

An important part of the Community Foundation’s mission is to address community needs as a catalyst and convener. So, if you have a great idea for a charitable project, or need to create awareness about an important community need, call us. We can help create a spark. A change. A beginning…for good things.

Currently, we are serving as a catalyst or convener for the following projects:

• Community Book Read - A community-wide effort to promote reading for pleasure among residents of our community of all ages.
  
• Reality Spanish - Teaching language and cultural skills to both Spanish and English native speakers in order to communicate in emergency situations, in the classroom, and at work.
  
• Water Quality - Bringing together environmentally minded donors and water quality experts to enhance and preserve our community's lakes, rivers and streams.

• Fostering Hope - Facilitating gifts to enrich the lives of Kosciusko County foster children.
