The funds held by the Community Foundation are as varied as the donors who establish them and are truly a reflection of our mission to “make donor dreams shine.”
Finding a Fund
Funds are listed alphabetically by the donor's last name, or the main word in the fund name. They are also listed by cause. Please choose from an option below to begin your search.
Fund Types
A letter or letters will appear after each fund name indicating the fund type. Fund types are as follows:
(C) Community Funds - Meet emerging needs. Income from these funds is usually granted in response to grant applications from area not-for-profit organizations.
(F) Field of Interest Funds - Specify that income from the fund is to support a donor’s particular area of concern, such as the arts, education, care of the elderly or environment without naming a specific organization to which grants will be made.
(S) Scholarship Funds - Provide financial assistance for tuition, books and academic fees to help students achieve their educational dreams.
(A) Advised Funds - Allow a donor or committee to recommend grant recipients to the Community Foundation’s Board of Directors, which makes the final grantmaking decisions in accordance with Treasury regulations.
(Ag) Agency Funds - Created by a not-for-profit organization to provide a stream of income for their organization.
(D) Designated Funds - Benefit a specific not-for-profit organization. Typically, a donor establishes a designated fund to benefit a favorite organization.
(*) Charitable Trusts and Gift Annuities - Charitable Remainder and Charitable Lead Trusts meet a donor’s charitable dreams while providing a lifetime income for the donor or the donor’s spouse, children or grandchildren.
Making a Gift to a Fund
If you wish to make a gift to any of the funds already established at the Community Foundation, you may make a check payable to the Kosciusko County Community Foundation and write the name of the fund in the memo line, or you can donate online and specify the fund name as part of Network for Good’s online giving form.

ACRES Endowment Fund (Ag) - Created to support the mission and work of ACRES Land Trust in northeast Indiana for the preservation of natural areas, environmental education, scientific study and public enjoyment.
American Association of University Women Scholarship Fund (S)- Established by the American Association of University Women's Warsaw branch to provide scholarship assistance to a non-traditional female student residing in Kosciusko County who has completed at least 15 credit hours at a Kosciusko County institution of higher education.
American Teen Scholarship (S) - Created with gifts from Paramount Vantage and Warsaw Community High School in celebration of the movie "American Teen", which debuted in theaters in 2008 and featured the lives of Warsaw Community High School students during their senior year.
Jeremiah J. Anglin Memorial Fund (A) - Established by John "Jack" Anglin in memory of his grandson, Jeremiah. Grants from the fund are advised by family members.
Animal Welfare League Fund (Ag) – Established to support AWL’s goals to prevent cruelty to animals and relieve their suffering.
The Dr. John E. Arford & Harriet E. Arford Family Charitable Endowment (A) - Established by the Arford's to help give back to organizations that played important roles in their lives, the First United Methodist Church and the Warsaw Christian School.
Ghean M. Arnolt Education/Philanthropic/Opportunities Endowment #1 (A) - Created by Ghean Arnolt through a Charitable Lead Trust to provide support to organizations that provide assistance to minorities or that provide educational opportunities.
Baker Youth Clubs Equipment Endowment Fund (Ag) - Established to provide for the equipment needs of this youth serving agency.
Baker Youth Clubs Operating Endowment Fund (Ag) - Established to support the mission of this youth serving agency.
Jimmy Baker Memorial Diabetes Fund (F) - Established by the Warsaw 802 Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks in memory of their long-time member, Jimmy Baker. The fund will help needy individuals with assistance for their treatment of diabetes.
Be a Light Upon My Path Fund (A) - Established through a gift of stock for the purpose of supporting charitable projects impacting people living and working in and around Kosciusko County and throughout the United States.
Fred and Nedra Beebe Scholarship Endowment (S) - Established by Nedra Beebe to assist qualified students in attaining a post secondary education.
The Helen and Carl Berkey Educational Endowment (S) - Provides scholarships or loans to worthy high school graduates who need financial assistance to obtain higher education.
The Everett and Fern Besson Memorial Scholarship Fund (S) - Established by Thomas and Janet Tucker and Judy Bowerman in memory of their parents, Everett and Fern Besson. This scholarship shall provide financial assistance to deserving students who are pursuing post secondary education in the area of agriculture.
Ben Bibler Body for LIFE Memorial Scholarship Fund (S) - Created in memory of Ben Bibler who won the Most Inspirational Award from Body for LIFE after his death. This scholarship is awarded to a Kosciusko County resident who has overcome obstacles and is pursuing higher education.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Indiana Fund (Ag) – Established to support the mission of this mentorship-based youth serving agency.
Board of Directors Community Endowment Fund (C) – Established by the board and staff of the Community Foundation.
Bott Science Scholarship Fund (S) - Mike Bott dedicated 35 years to teaching and coaching in the Warsaw school system. Mike's family, friends, colleagues and community members wished to continue his teaching legacy by establishing this fund.
Jay Bower Estate Endowment for United Way of Kosciusko County (D) - Established through a bequest in Jay Bower’s Will.
The Priscilla and George Bowser Educational Endowment (S) - Awards scholarships to worthy high school graduates who need financial assistance in order to obtain higher education or training.
Boys & Girls Club of Kosciusko County Fund (Ag) – Established to support the mission of this youth serving organization.
Steve Bradford Memorial Fund to Assist Kosciusko County Children (F) - Established in memory of Steve Bradford by his friends and family to benefit Kosciusko County children in need.
John R. and Joan Bradway Fund (A) - The Bradways established this fund to provide support for local charitable projects. Their three children act as the advisors to this fund.
John R. Bradway & Joan Bradway Endowment for the Atwood Aldersgate Church & the Etna Green United Methodist Church (D) - Established by the Bradways to provide support for two churches that were important in their lives.
Breakfast Optimist Club of Warsaw, IN Scholarship Fund (S) - Established by the Warsaw Breakfast Optimists to fulfill their mission "Friend to Youth." The scholarships are awarded to Warsaw area students.
Robert E. and Susan R. Brennan Scholarship Fund (S) - Created in memory of Bob Brennan, a local pharmacist and community leader, by his wife, Sue Brennan. Awards are presented to Warsaw High School seniors and past recipients pursuing a career in music or pharmacy.
Camelot Scholarship Fund (S) - Created by the Shoop Sports and Youth Foundation in memory of their founder, J. Homer Shoop, to provide scholarships to needy and deserving graduates from Wawasee, Whitko or Warsaw High Schools.
Camp Mack Operations Endowment Fund (Ag) – Established to support the mission of this Christian camp, conference and retreat center.
Cardinal Center Endowment Fund (Ag) – Established to support the mission of this community based organization that provides services to people with disabilities or other needs.
Neal and Joy Carlson CRT (*) – Will fund charities important to the Carlsons.
Carlson Family Educational Fund (S) - Neal and Joy Carlson established this scholarship fund to provide financial assistance to needy and deserving students who are in their junior or senior year of college, seeking degrees in elementary education or special education. The Carlsons established this fund in honor of their family members who have made careers in the education of children and youth.
Child Care Compensation Fund (F) - Established by the Dekko Foundation to recognize the educational achievement attained by child care providers.
The William J. and Louese B. Chinworth Scholarship Fund (S) - Endows the Chinworth Award, presented annually to a Warsaw senior who, by vote of school faculty, has made the most of his or her opportunities. Mr. Chinworth was a Warsaw businessman, and Mrs. Chinworth was an accomplished artist and musician.
The City-County Athletic Complex, Inc. Endowment (Ag) – Established to support the mission of this 65+ acre sports and recreation facility.
Claypool Knights Legacy Scholarship (S) - The Parent Teacher Council of Claypool School established this scholarship to provide assistance to worthy and needy students who reside in Clay Township in Kosciusko County and who have graduated from Warsaw Community High School.
Reuben F. and Betty Jane Clover Charitable Fund (D) - Created by Betty Jane Clover as part of her estate planning to provide financial support to charities that were important to her including: Plain Township Fire Department, Kosciusko County Animal Shelter, St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, Leesburg United Methodist Church and the Town of Leesburg.
Combined Community Services Endowment Fund (Ag) – Established to support their mission of combining community services to provide comfort, hope and resources for neighbors in need.
Community Scholarship Enhancement Fund (D) - Created with money remaining from Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship funds for the purpose of promoting scholarships and higher education in Kosciusko County, Indiana.
Condon Family Foundation (A) – Established by the Condon Family as an advised fund to allow Mr. and Mrs. Condon and their children to make a positive impact through grants to charitable organizations and projects that are meaningful to them. Robert Condon served as the Community Foundation's Board President.
Deborah M. Cooley Memorial Scholarship (S) - Patricia and George Lenke established this fund in memory of Patricia's mother, Deborah Cooley. Scholarships will help students pursuing nursing, physical therapy, radiology medical technology or pharmacy degrees.
Court Appointed Special Advocate Fund (Ag) – Established to support their mission to speak in the best interest of children who are at risk for abuse and neglect.
Donny R. Craw Memorial Scholarship Fund (S) - Established by Alice Lykins in memory of her nephew, Don Craw. Don taught Spanish in the Tippecanoe Valley school system. Scholarship awards benefit students from Tippecanoe Valley.
Creighton Brothers Charitable Fund (A) - Created to facilitate Creighton Brothers charitable giving program. Grants are recommended by an advisory committee.
Eddie and Louise Creighton Family Fund (A) - Established by Eddie and Louise Creighton to provide support to public charities impacting the people living and working in and around Kosciusko County.
Dekko Enhancement Fund (C) - Established by the Dekko Foundation.
DePuy Memorial Scholarship Fund (S) - The initial gifts to this scholarship fund were given by DePuy employees and friends in memory of long-time DePuy employee, Trudy Bradford. Scholarships from this fund will help the children or step-children of DePuy employees reach their educational dreams.
E. Philip Dick Memorial Endowment (F) - Established in memory of E. Philip Dick by his friends and family.
Dixie Sternwheeler, Inc. Fund (Ag) - This fund was established by Dixie Sternwheeler, Inc. to provide support enabling the preservation of this historic watercraft.
Byron C. Doran and Jo Ann Doran Charitable Remainder Trust (*) – Will meet the community’s emerging needs.
Berniece Hollar Dwyer Charitable Endowment (S) - This fund was established to provide scholarship assistance to students at Bethel College, Mishawaka, Indiana.
The William and Helen Dye Endowment Fund (A) - Provides support to charitable organizations providing services to residents of Kosciusko County.

The Megan Easterday - Harrison Elementary Scholarship (S) - Established by Megan’s parents, Larry and Anne Easterday and many community members. This endowment provides scholarships to qualified graduating seniors who attended Harrison Elementary School.
Mary O. Elsbury Memorial Scholarship Endowment (S) - Provides scholarships to needy and deserving adults and other students who need financial assistance to gain education beyond high school.
Etna Green Community Fund (D) - Established to meet the needs of the Etna Green community with a primary focus on parks and recreation.
Etna Green Museum Fund (D) - Established to support the Etna Green Museum in its efforts to preserve the history of Etna Green.
The Evergreen Fund (A) - Established by anonymous donors for the purpose of supporting charitable organizations and purposes.
William E. Farrar Memorial Scholarship Fund (S) – This scholarship fund was created by family and friends of William Farrar in his memory. Mr. Farrar served as a principal in the Warsaw school system. His love of learning will live on through this fund in his name.
Edson L. Finkenbiner and Valencia V. Finkenbiner Endowment CRT (*) – Will fund charities important to the Finkenbiners.
First United Methodist Church Endowment Fund in Memory of Marilyn Phillips (D) - Given in memory of Marilyn, by her husband Darrell, to provide the First United Methodist Church in Warsaw funds for educational purposes.
Fostering Hope Endowment Fund (F) – Created to provide life enriching medical treatments and extracurricular activities to children in the Kosciusko County foster care system.
Donald and Mildred Frantz Discretionary Endowment Fund (C) – Established by former Board member, Don Frantz, and his wife, Mildred.
Ralph and Lucetta Frantz Scholarship Fund (S) - Resulted from a charitable remainder trust in which Ralph Frantz provided his sister, Lucetta, with a life income. At her death, the Community Foundation received the remainder interest to be used for scholarships to Kosciusko County residents.
Dorothy Frauhiger Memorial Art Scholarship (S) - Established by Mrs. Frauhiger's family to award an annual scholarship in her memory to a Warsaw Community High School graduating senior.
John S. Frederich Endowment Fund (C) – Established by former Board member, John Frederich.
Lance Cpl. David Fribley Memorial Scholarship Fund (S) - This fund was established by many donors in memory of David Fribley, who died serving his country in Iraq on March 23, 2003. The fund provides scholarships to county students who are pursuing education beyond high school.
Edward B. & Mary Edith Funk Educational Endowment (S) - A result of a bequest from the Funk family. Earnings are awarded annually through scholarships.
The Gasaway Education Fund (S) - Created by Anabelle Gasaway in tribute to her husband Dr. Gasaway, a dentist in Warsaw. Anabelle was a PE teacher and an active volunteer for the Girl Scouts and the hospital. This fund aids area students in obtaining a higher education.
The Helen and Dave Gast Endowment (C) – Established by Dave Gast to meet the community's emerging needs.
Merl M. and Jean M. Gibson Scholarship Fund (S) - Established by Jean and Merl Gibson for the purpose of providing post-secondary, undergraduate scholarship assistance to deserving students who are residents of Kosciusko County.
Gill Family Charitable Endowment (D) - Created by Calvin and Sue Gill to provide support to St. Anne's Episcopal Church in Warsaw and to fund three different scholarship funds at the Community Foundation including one for students studying veterinary medicine, one for students pursuing a vocational degree or certificate, and a general scholarship.
The Robert T. and Emma Gilliam Memorial Fund Endowment (S) - Florence Gilliam Clark created this scholarship fund in tribute to her parents, Robert and Emma Gilliam, to aid area students in obtaining higher education.
Glover Family Fund (A) - Established through a Charitable Remainder Trust, this advised fund provided Richard and Evelyn Glover the opportunity to recommend grants to charitable organizations and projects during their lifetime, and continues to provide their daughter with the opportunity to recommend grants to charitable projects that are meaningful to her.
Glover Operating Endowment (D) - Created by Richard Glover, the Kosciusko County Community Foundation's initial chairperson, and his wife Evelyn.
Good Samaritan Administration Fund (D) - The K21 Foundation established this fund to provide social work and administrative support for the Good Samaritan Fund, which helps local residents in financial crisis because of a medical condition.
Good Samaritan Fund (F) - Established by Ethel Vandermark to help families in medical crisis.
Grace Village Retirement Community Endowment Fund (Ag) – Established by Grace Village to support their mission to enable older adults to live to their fullest potential in the security of a Christian environment.
Chauncey L. Griffith Educational Fund (S) - Established by Helen Griffith through a bequest in her will in memory of her father, Chauncey, to provide scholarships to area students.
H & P Investments Charitable Fund (A) - Established by an anonymous donor to support various Christian efforts and ministries.
Habitat for Humanity Operating Endowment Fund (Ag) - Established by Habitat for Humanity of Kosciusko County to help support their mission to help families in our community by building homes and building lives.
Mrya Igo Haley Advised Fund (A) - Established by the Haley Family to fund qualified charitable organizations.
The Terry and Terese Hand Family Endowment Fund (A) - Benefits qualified area not-for-profit organizations.
The William F. Hand Family Endowment (A) - Benefits qualified area not-for-profit organizations.
Mary (Leedy) Hand Memorial Scholarship Endowment (S) - Provides scholarships to needy adults returning to higher education and other deserving students who could not otherwise avail themselves of education beyond high school.
Mary L. Hand Memorial Library Endowment (D) - Provides support for the Mary L. Hand Memorial Library of the Winona Lake Free Methodist Church.
The Claude C. Hartman and Sarah R. Hartman Endowment Fund (C) - Established by Thomas LeHew in memory of his aunt and uncle, Claude and Sarah Hartman.
Roy F. and Joellen Hauth, Jr. CRAT (*) – Will meet emerging community needs.
Health Connect Charitable Fund (Ag) – Established to support the mission of this organization.
Heart of Gold Endowment Fund (F) - Established in 2003 through a gift from National City Bank for the purpose of inspiring and recognizing the spirit of volunteerism in Kosciusko County through the Heart of Gold Awards celebration and other events or methods that build social capital.
Heart of Gold of Kosciusko County (D) - Funds charitable grants recommended by Heart of Gold recipients.
Peter D. Hess CRT (*) - Will fund charities important to Mr. Hess.
Russell L. and Patricia L. Heyde Endowment Fund (A) - Supports qualified charities in Kosciusko County.
Phillip D. Hochstetler Scholarship Fund (S) - This scholarship was established by the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department to honor Phillip Hochstetler, a detective killed in the line of duty. Scholarships from this fund are awarded to Kosciusko County graduating seniors planning to attend college to study criminal justice.
Sarah Hogan Memorial Award for Mental Attitude (S) - Created to honor the memory of Sarah Hogan, this award is presented to a member of the Warsaw High School Choir who demonstrates a positive mental attitude. The Choir Department recommends the award recipient.
Deborah and Kevin Hohman Animal Care Scholarship Fund (S) - Established to provide scholarships to graduates of Warsaw or Tippecanoe Valley schools to pursue a career in small animal care, or to help with the equipment needs of those desiring to work in small animal care.
Steven and Jennifer Hollar Charitable Foundation (A) - Created by Steven and Jennifer Hollar to provide support to the charitable interests of the couple and their family.
Brady Houck Scholarship Fund (S) – This scholarship fund was established in memory of Brady Houck by many friends and family members. Brady was a senior at Warsaw Community High School when he died tragically in a car accident just before graduation.
Housing Opportunities of Warsaw Inc. Endowment Fund (Ag) - Created by Housing Opportunities of Warsaw to provide an ongoing source of operating support to help them accomplish their mission to encourage and expand affordable housing by providing opportunity and choice through investing in people and communities.
N. Bruce and Ann S. Howe CRT Advised Fund (*) – Will fund an advised fund.

ICDI Operating Endowment Fund (Ag) - Established by Integrated Community Development International to provide this faith-based organization, based out of Winona Lake, Indiana, operating support for their work in central Africa.
Miles and Maxine Igo CRT Advised Fund (*) – Will meet the community’s emerging needs.
Indiana University Alumni Chapter of Kosciusko County Fund (S) - Members of the Indiana University Alumni Chapter of Kosciusko County created this fund to provide scholarships to deserving students who are in their third or fourth year of attending Indiana University at Bloomington.
Indiana Vac-Form Inc., Scholarship (S) - Established to provide scholarships to Warsaw Community High School students who participated as senior members of the Warsaw Community High School Band or Color Guard.
Jackson Scholarship Fund (S) - Established by Brad and Tracy Jackson to provide scholarship assistance. Tracy is a Community Foundation board member.
Teresa K. Jones Memorial Scholarship (S) - Given in memory of their beloved daughter by the late Mr. and Mrs. Jones to award a scholarship to a female student graduating from Warsaw Community Schools. A committee of Teri Jones' former classmates recommends the annual recipient.
Junior Achievement Endowment for Kosciusko County (D) – Provides support to Junior Achievement to help them teach children how they can impact the world around them as individuals, workers and consumers.
The K21 Health Foundation Medical Scholarship Fund (S) - Created to provide tuition assistance for financially needy residents of Kosciusko County and employees of Kosciusko Community Hospital, or of Kosciusko Home Care and Hospice who are pursuing a degree in a nursing or health profession in direct patient care.
K21 Health Scholarship Endowment Fund (S) - The Kosciusko 21st Century Foundation established this endowment fund to provide scholarship assistance to students who are pursuing a field of study in nursing, occupational therapy, physical therapy, as a radiology technician or a medical technician.
The Thomas E. Kelson & Harriet Searls Kelson Endowment Fund (D) - Provides annual income to the church the Kelson family attended.
The Kay A. Kindig Memorial Scholarship (S) - Established by friends and family in Kay Kindig's memory, this fund provides scholarship assistance to needy and deserving graduates of Tippecanoe Valley High School.
Dan Kinsey Memorial Endowment Scholarship Fund (S) - Friends and family of Dan Kinsey established this scholarship in his memory. Dan was a native of Warsaw. He taught English and was involved in many extracurricular activities at McCutcheon High School in West Lafayette, Indiana. Scholarships assist graduating seniors of McCuthcheon High School, with special consideration given to those majoring in education.
Kosciusko 21st Century Foundation Good Samaritan Fund (D) - Established by the K21 Foundation to complement the Good Samaritan permanent fund established by the late Ethel Vandermark, which gives assistance to Kosciusko County residents in financial crisis due to a medical condition.
Kosciusko Community YMCA Endowment Fund (Ag) – Established by the YMCA to help support their mission to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all.
Kosciusko County 4-H Endowment Fund (Ag) – Established to support the mission of this youth serving educational organization.
Kosciusko County Boy Scouts Endowment (D) – Established by Eddie Creighton to support the mission of Boy Scouts.
Kosciusko County Center for the Arts Endowment Fund (D) - Will provide ongoing support for a county-wide Arts Center under the direction of Lakeland Art Association, Inc. for the provision of culturally enriching activities in the arts including, but not limited to, visual arts.
Kosciusko County Chapter of American Red Cross Endowment (Ag) – Established to support their mission to provide relief to victims of disaster and help people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies.
Kosciusko County Community Fair, Inc. Endowment Fund (Ag) – Established to support their mission to instruct the public on agriculture matters by means of public fairs and exhibitions.
Kosciusko County Community Foundation Charitable Endeavors Fund (A) - Donors may make gifts and recommend grants for charitable projects in our county through this fund.
Kosciusko County Community Foundation Memorial Endowment Fund (C) - Established with memorial gifts for Robert Rasor, a founding Board member of the Foundation. This fund accepts contributions made in memory of loved ones.
Kosciusko County Community Foundation Operating Endowment (Ag) – Established to support our mission to help make donor dreams shine for the good of the community.
Kosciusko County Community Foundation Scholarship Fund (S) - A vehicle for donors wishing to assist area students pursuing educational opportunities beyond high school. The Foundation's Scholarship committee makes their selection from applications received for other scholarship funds.
Kosciusko County Community Foundation Smoke Detector Program (D) – Accepts gifts to support the Kosciusko County Fireman’s Association and fire departments in providing smoke detectors to local residents to prevent fire-related deaths.
Kosciusko County Community Foundation Unrestricted Fund (C) - Established by an anonymous donor to meet the emerging needs of the community.
Kosciusko County Council on Aging and Aged, Inc. Endowment Fund (Ag) – Established to support their mission to serve Kosciusko County’s senior population.
The Kosciusko County Freedom Academy Fund (Ag) – Established to support their mission to enhance the quality of life for those who are working to enrich their education.
Kosciusko County General Education Development (GED) Fund (D) - Established as a result of a Kosciusko Youth Leadership Academy white paper project. Members of this project included Kaila Higgins, Sarah Jungbauer and Joel Widman. The fund helps pay for GED testing to worthy and needy individuals who are residents of Kosciusko County with preference given to clients of the Beaman Home.
Kosciusko County Historical Society, Inc. Endowment Fund (Ag) – Established to support their mission to collect, preserve and exhibit materials of history, especially those for Kosciusko County.
Kosciusko County Patriotism Endowment (F) - Created to instill, promote and encourage patriotism. When fully funded, it will make grants for the purchase and replacement of U.S. flags, state flags and flags for public display, and for the funding and promotion of patriotic awards, educational events and programs in Kosciusko County.
Kosciusko County Right to Life Fund (Ag) – Established to support their mission to help people understand that all human life is precious, from conception to natural death.
Kosciusko County Soil and Water Conservation District Fund (A) - Established by the Indiana Soil and Water Conservation District Foundation to provide support for soil and water conservation activities and projects that benefit Kosciusko County.
Kosciusko County United Way, Inc. Endowment (D) - Established by Rita Schobert and the late Rudolph Schobert.
Kosciusko Crime Stoppers Endowment Fund (D) - Created by the Kosciusko Crime Stoppers to provide support for their program, which aims to help prevent and solve crime.
Kosciusko Endowment Youth Services (F) - Created by the Dekko Foundation to fund leadership, philanthropy and teamwork training for twenty students from Warsaw, Wawasee, Tippecanoe Valley and Lakeland Christian Academy school systems.

The Kosciusko REMC Operation Round Up Program Fund (A) – Participating members of KREMC agree to have their monthly electric bills rounded up to the nearest dollar. The cents generated by this process are deposited into this fund, which is held at the Community Foundation. A grant committee makes recommendations to the Foundation's Board about charitable projects to be funded.

McDonald Memorial Scholarship Fund (S) - Dr. Angus C. McDonald came to Warsaw in 1892. He established the first hospital in Warsaw, and was one of the founders and the first president of Bakers' Boys Club.

Mentone Community Fund (A) – This fund was created by Rita Price Simpson to benefit charitable projects and organizations serving her beloved home town community of Mentone, Indiana. Mrs. Simpson serves on the Community Foundation's Board of Directors.

Women's Fund (F) – This fund was created by gifts from a local group of women who wanted to make a difference in the lives of women. Together, the women act as an advisory group helping to recommend grants impacting women to the Community Foundation’s Board.
Youth Recruitment & Retention Hunting, Fishing, Trapping, and Shooting Sports Education Fund (F) - Established to support youth education for people 17 years of age or younger in outdoor recreation and conservation activities, with primary focus on fair chase hunting, fishing, trapping and recreational shooting sports activities in Kosciusko County. The fund will assist local not-for-profit youth programs in Kosciusko County in conducting these outdoor recreation and conservation activities.
Kailey Lynn Zehr Memorial Scholarship Fund (S) - This fund was established by an anonymous donor and funded by both the original donor and many friends and family of Kailey Zehr. Kailey was a student at Edgewood Middle School when she died after battling a lengthy illness. She will be remembered for her kindness, perserverance, happy demeanor and love of life.
