Community/Unrestricted Grants

Kosciusko County Community Foundation, Inc. utilizes a formal grant application form. Copies of grant guidelines and application forms can be obtained from the Foundation office and they are available by clicking here.

The Foundation will make grants three times per year. Grant application deadlines are January 15, May 15 and September 15. Applications received after a deadline will be considered in the next cycle. There is a 9-week review period before applicants are notified regarding whether or not they have been approved for a grant.

Applicants are strongly encouraged to contact the Program Officer of the Community Foundation to discuss projects before submitting a formal grant application. You may contact the Program Officer by calling 574-267-1901 or by clicking here.

Each grant request is reviewed by Foundation staff for completeness. A visit with the applicant organization may take place as part of the review process. The Grant Committee, comprised of board members and community leaders, will review requests. The committee will then make recommendations to the Board of Directors who select recipients of grants. All applicants are notified by mail of the decision of the board.
