The Levinsons share a deep commitment to stewardship of the beautiful resources in Kosciusko County. Their family has been a fixture on Lake Wawasee for nearly 100 years! Preserving and enhancing water quality and the environment is a top priority for them.

“Through our Donor Advised Fund at the Community Foundation, we have made contributions to the Wawasee Area Conservancy Foundation, The Watershed Foundation, and the Lilly Center for Lakes & Streams. These organizations have been at the forefront of environmental conversation in our community, tirelessly working to protect and restore the natural beauty of our lakes and streams,” said Becky. “By supporting their missions, we feel a deep sense of fulfillment in knowing that we are making a positive impact on the environment that future generations will inherit.”

The Levinsons value the Donor Advised Fund at the Community Foundation as it allows them to make recommendations to their favorite charities and contribute as often as they’d like.

“The Levinsons are a great example of a family that uses a Donor Advised Fund to support charitable projects that align with their values and to help teach their children about philanthropy,” said Stephanie Overbey, CEO at the Community Foundation. “I’ve had the privilege of being a part of a family meeting in which each of their children shared what needs they would like to help meet in their community and the world. That’s beautiful!”
