Building Entrepreneurial and Philanthropic Dreams

Making donor dreams come true is the living legacy of the Byron C. Doran and Jo Ann Doran Charitable Endowment.  After graduating from Manchester College, Byron attended Indiana University Medical School, majoring in Chemistry. In 1952, Byron would start Warsaw Black Oxide Incorporated, in Burket, Indiana. Jo Ann attended Silver Lake High School and later attended Indiana University Fort Wayne, majoring in English. Jo Ann volunteered for the American Cancer Society while Byron served as a Shriner, a member of the Elks and served on the Board of Companies for Danek and Alexander National Life Insurance.
