Grant Writing 101 – Wednesday Sessions

We hear you: Grant writing can be an overwhelming task, especially given limited time and resources. We’re pleased to offer an introductory, hands-on Grant Writing 101 course designed to help your nonprofit feel confident and prepared. This practical workshop, led by Alex Hall, Vice President of Programs at the Kosciusko County Community Foundation, will walk you through tips for identifying the right funders, understanding different types of grants, getting organized before you apply, and tackling the application itself, plus what to do after you hit submit, including reporting and follow-up. We’ll use real-world examples throughout so you can see exactly how it all comes together. Attendees will also receive a robust set of take-home resources. Whether you’re brand new to grants or just looking to sharpen your approach, this session is packed with tools you can put to work right away.

In order to keep the groups at a purposeful, engaging size, we are offering two cohort-style sessions. Registration is limited to 25 attendees per cohort, so register today to secure your spot! The cost is $50 per attendee. Optional work hours to collaborate with other attendees or to ask questions and dive deeper into the topics will be offered immediately following each session.
