Community Foundation Honors Tyler Ostrom With Investment Advisory Award 

The Kosciusko County Community Foundation recently recognized Tyler Ostrom with the 2026 Investment Advisory Award for his exceptional service to charitably minded clients and the community.

Ostrom, a principal and financial advisor with SYM Financial, was honored for helping a donor couple navigate the complexities of a business sale while thoughtfully incorporating their charitable goals into their financial planning. Throughout the process, he protected the clients’ privacy while helping them maximize the impact of their philanthropy.

A Warsaw Community High School graduate, Ostrom earned an undergraduate degree in accounting & finance, and an MBA from Ball State University. He is both a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®). He also serves as treasurer of Cardinal Services’ Board of Directors and is a willing mentor to young people considering entering the finance profession.
