A gift to one of the endowment funds benefitting area lakes and their communities will help preserve lake quality, support arts & cultural events surrounding the lakes, and meet charitable and community needs surrounding the lakes.

Kosciusko Lakes and Streams Endowment Fund provides support to the Lilly Center for Lakes & Streams at Grace College, led by Dr. Nate Bosch. The Lilly Center focuses on making our lakes and streams clean, healthy, safe and beautiful. They conduct research on 14+ lakes and 12+ streams throughout the county, including Wawasee and Syracuse lakes, studying lake levels, algae toxins, invasive species, inflowing streams and more.

Tippecanoe Watershed Foundation Designated Endowment Fund – Established to support The Watershed Foundation in their efforts to protect and improve water quality in the lakes and streams of the Upper Tippecanoe River watershed to ensure that future generations will have clean water for healthy and happy families and communities.

Wawasee Area Conservancy Foundation Agency Endowment Fund provides an annual stream of operating support to WACF to help them accomplish their mission to protect, preserve and enhance the Wawasee area watershed for present and future generations.

Lake Wawasee Community Fund – Established to support arts, cultural, and enrichment activities in the Lake Wawasee community.

Peter M. Smith Family Charitable Fund for the Lilly Center for Lakes & Streams at Grace College – Established to support the Lilly Center for Lakes & Streams at Grace College to enable the monitoring and reporting on water quality of lakes in Kosciusko County, to suggest actions to improve water quality, and to implement action to improve the water quality.

Spurgeon-Young Family Fund for Lake Wawasee – Established to support programs and projects that provide research and development of water quality improvements, including education programs, at Lake Wawasee.
