New Fund Supports Addiction and Recovery Services

The Kosciusko County Community Foundation is pleased to announce the creation of a new fund – the Kosciusko County Addiction and Recovery Fund.

Established by generous anonymous donors, the Kosciusko County Addiction and Recovery Fund will provide support for programs and projects aimed at assisting individuals or families affected by drug or alcohol addiction. Grants from the fund will primarily focus on programs and projects that provide mentoring, training, education, transitional housing, or wrap around services to recovering individuals or their families.

Drug and alcohol addiction are wide spread issues affecting many individuals in our county, our state, and our country. Often times, those affected by addiction do not have the financial means to seek the assistance they need for themselves and for their families. The Kosciusko County Addiction and Recovery Fund will provide grants directly to nonprofit organizations providing services for individuals and families affected by addiction, making them more affordable and accessible.

Local nonprofits seeking a grant from the Kosciusko County Addiction and Recovery Fund should apply through the Community Funds Grant application process. Applications are due March 1, July 1, and November 1 of each year. To learn more and apply for Community Funds Grants, visit

The Community Foundation cannot award grants directly to individuals. For those seeking assistance, please contact one of your local recovery programs.
